30 HOUR FAMINE

Gather and show your support for those who don’t get enough food. We’ll collect food for the food shelf, have discussion, watch movies, play games, and listen to a special guest speaker! The Famine will end with a meal served by your parents.

For: 9^th-12^th graders

SUMMER SOFTBALL

Every Tuesday in the summer we gather at the church ball field and play a pick-up game of softball. A great time is had by all. Hope to see you there!

THURSDAY NIGHT BONFIRES

Every Thursday throughout the summer youth are invited to come hang out around a bonfire, eat s’mores, and play night games. WE NEED PARENTS TO HELP!!

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY

Help us clean up the road around our church, earn service points, and eat pizza! Bring your parents for an extra point!

Mission Trips

Each summer, senior high youth embark on an adventure together to different parts of the United States (or world!) to work together to serve others. Last summer we traveled to Milwaukee, WI where we joined three other churches at a Youthworks site. Some of us worked with inner city kids at a youth center and others worked with mentally and physically disabled kids at a day camp. We stretched our comfort zones together and came away with some amazing experiences and lots of new friends. Join us on our next trip!

Sunshine Festival (Willmar, MN)

We’re taking a long weekend out to Willmar, MN to a Christian music festival where we’ll see 70 bands and meet LOTS of new people. We will also fit in a service project in the community. Sign up on the kiosk if you are interested!

Tanzania, Africa

A group of 15 youth and adults from the congregation are traveling to Tanzania this summer to visit our partner parish in Iringa. We plan to spend time building relationships and learning from our brothers and sisters as we immerse ourselves in their world. We also plan to go on a safari! Please pray for us as we travel this summer!

Jumpstart

WHO: All 7-12 graders
WHAT: a time to hang out, share our interests, serve others, and have great conversations. We will be on a rotating schedule that may include:

• Music & Discussion
• Service Projects
• Videos & Discussion
• Breakfast outings
• Planning for worship

WHEN: Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. between worship services.
WHERE: In the youth room!

Youth Singers

Youth ages 6^th-12^th grade are welcome to participate. We practice on Wednesdays during the school year at 6:40 PM.

Youth Band

Do you play an instrument or like to sing? Are you interested in being in a band at church? Join our youth band! We will hold practices on Sunday evenings and play during worship throughout the year. If you are interested, contact Elizabeth.
